Valentine’s Day, the Engagement Explosion!

There’s a lot of pressure on getting an engagement perfect.  So much thought and preparation go into the planning – from the arrangements, the perpetual surprise, the execution to the ring!

Valentine’s Day can be overrated, or it can be very, very magical.  Just ask the bride or spouse to be!

This, I love to highlight a snippet of during the love story portion of the ceremony. Their engagement is often a really great story, and one they would love you to share.

The Engagement Explosion

I have noticed over recent years, the enquiries to book my services increase just after Valentine’s Day.  It makes sense – this is a day of love, and what better way to express your love than to ask the person you care about most to marry you!

These enquiries could be for this year, next, even the following year!  Yes, it’s true. Couples are planners, especially if they have their heart set on a particular venue, or specific date. They will often wait to get exactly what they want. Including you!

I’ve had couples change their wedding date to ensure that I officiate their ceremony! I can’t tell you how that makes me feel.

Remember, you are a benefactor of the engagement explosion. Take each enquiry, regardless of how far out it is, seriously and with respect. Couples are shopping around to find a perfect fit, and if you show them who you are, they will fall in love with you and want to hire you.

This Valentine’s Day beam your perfect, freshly engaged couple(s) love, and in turn, they will find you. It will be a match made in heaven!

Much love,
